Ethics Statement

• Massage is about touch.  I believe that the experience of being touched with compassion and love by another human being is essential to the proper development and maintenance of everyone's psychological, social and physical well being.  My goal is to provide this experience to all my clients.  Touch can be abusive when it is done without permission from the one being touched.  Thus, I will take the responsibility for my communicating with my client to make certain that my touch is always appropriate.  Although touch can be sexual, touching with a sexual intention is outside the bounds of my professional practice and is never appropriate.
