In November 2005 I attended the Aviana Mindful Touch Therapy class in Hershey, Pa. The heart of the Mindful Touch Therapy program is based on a philosophy that the power of touch can have a profound impact on an individual's health and well being. It is a unique blend of Energy Bodywork and Mindful Meditation.

Mindful Touch Therapy was originally created to be safe and effective for individuals living with cancer, critical illness and other health circumstances often contra-indicated for massage.
The client remains fully clothed during the massage with the exception of the feet, resting on the top layer of sheets and is not required to turn over during the routine. You rest comfortably with a soft pillow under the knees and can be modified if the client has special needs.
